Second Life and Penguins

There has been considerable buzz in the library world about libraries being built and operating in Second Life.   Cool enough.

Today though, I was watching my daughter spend a considerable amount of time at Club Penguin popping in and out of other the igloos of other “penguins.”  This is a site for a younger crowd than Second Life.  I got to thinking that it would be fabulous to have a library igloo where kids could come and ask homework questions.  I think it would be a big hit.
